When John recently sat down with Waga to share his story, the emotional toll of his journey was impossible to hide.
“He was a broken husband, a grieving father, and a man desperately trying to find his way back,” Waga said.
Moved by John’s plight, Waga shared his story publicly, hoping that someone might hear his cry for help. What followed exceeded all expectations.
John’s life-changing moment
Within hours, an international corporate organisation came across the story and reached out.
After speaking with John and learning about the challenges he had faced, the organisation made a life-changing decision.
They offered him KSh 500,000 to help him rebuild his life and also provided him with a job opportunity in the same field in which he previously worked.
The dramatic turnaround has left many inspired by the power of compassion and community support.
“Less than 24 hours ago, he was wondering how he would take care of his children. Today, he has a job. Today, he has hope. Today, he has a reason to smile again,” Waga said.

For John, the support means far more than financial relief. It represents a chance to start over after months of grief, uncertainty, and struggle.
Waga said the story serves as a reminder that circumstances can change unexpectedly and that acts of kindness, no matter how small, can have a profound impact on someone’s life.
“This is not just John’s story. It is a reminder to anyone who feels forgotten, anyone who is grieving, anyone who is unemployed, and anyone fighting battles behind closed doors that your current situation is not your final destination,” he noted.
The life coach also thanked the many people who read, shared, prayed, and reached out after hearing about John’s situation, saying their compassion had restored a father’s faith in humanity.
For one grieving father, a single day transformed despair into possibility, all because strangers chose to care.
