In a lengthy social media post, the creator, who often preaches the Word of God online, revealed that he attempted to watch the widely discussed show after seeing numerous recommendations on TikTok and other platforms.
However, he said he stopped watching shortly after it began due to scenes he considered inappropriate for Christians seeking to live according to biblical teachings.
According to him, many believers unknowingly make their spiritual struggles more difficult by consuming entertainment that promotes immorality while simultaneously praying for strength to overcome temptation.
He emphasised the importance of guarding one’s heart and mind, citing biblical teachings that encourage Christians to be careful about what they allow into their lives. The content creator argued that what people watch can eventually shape their thoughts, attitudes, and actions.

“Some people are wondering why they keep falling into temptation. The answer is simple: what you entertain eventually influences you,” he said.
Beyond his concerns about the show’s content, he also challenged viewers who use the series to form opinions about marriage and men in general. He noted that while the program focuses on infidelity and deception, it does not represent all husbands or marriages.
The creator urged people to also recognize faithful men who remain committed to their wives and families despite life’s challenges and temptations. He argued that many husbands continue to honour their marriage vows, provide for their families, and remain loyal even when faced with opportunities to stray.
The post further criticised the growing influence of movies, social media, and celebrity culture on people’s views of relationships and family life. Instead, he encouraged Christians to rely on Scripture as their primary guide on marriage, commitment, and self-control.
