Manchester City send more players to World Cup than any club + Full list

Manchester City will have more players at the 2026 FIFA World Cup than any other club in world football, with 19 players who last featured for the Premier League giants set to represent their countries at the tournament in North America.

The figure makes City the most represented club at the World Cup and also places them comfortably ahead of every other Premier League side.

Among English clubs, Arsenal are next with 16 players selected for the tournament, while Manchester United have 13.

Crystal Palace, Chelsea, Liverpool and Sunderland each have 11 or more players involved, underlining the Premier League’s strong presence on the global stage.

Across world football, 17 clubs will have at least 10 players at the World Cup who last played their club football for them before joining their national teams.

City sit top of the global standings with 19 representatives.

Bayern Munich follow with 18 players, while Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain each have 17.

Barcelona complete the top five with 15 players.

The French champions’ strong representation comes shortly after their UEFA Champions League final victory over Arsenal.

Further down the list, Crystal Palace, Manchester United, Al-Hilal and Atletico Madrid each have 12 players at the tournament.

Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund and Galatasaray are represented by 11 players apiece.

Slavia Prague, AC Milan, PSV Eindhoven, Real Madrid and Fenerbahce complete the group of clubs with double-digit representation, each contributing 10 players.

Real Madrid are also heading into the tournament without a Spain international in their World Cup squad, marking the first time the Spanish giants have not had a player representing the national team at a World Cup.

The numbers highlight City’s influence on the international stage, with no club across Europe, England or the rest of the world sending more players to the tournament.
