It is an exciting time for Nollywood actress Mide Martins, as God blesses her household with a baby boy.
The movie star announced the good news on her Instagram page with a video from the baby’s naming ceremony. She expressed gratitude to Allah for the gift and welcomed the newborn to the world.

Last year, Mide was overwhelmed after winning Best Actress for the second time. She expressed how grateful and overwhelmed she was to have won it and thanked her Maker for her journey in the industry.
In 2024, she won the Best Actress award at Odunlade Adekola Film Production. While receiving the award, Martins admitted that the journey wasn’t easy as she appreciated her husband for being there for her since she lost her mother as she stated that she is nothing without him.
Last year, the wife of Azeez Owo had bagged a new title from the International Islamic organisation. She was honoured with ‘Imole Adinni’ by the Sheikh Tagana International Islamic Organisation. Expressing gratitude to her Maker, Mide said that this award marks a significant step forward in her Islamic journey, and she was grateful for her progress so far.
In 2023, Mide couldn’t keep calm after winning the ‘Face of Nollywood’. Expressing gratitude to her millions of fans and supporters, Mide dedicated the award to everyone who believes in her.
