Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe is celebrating her son, Juwon Gentry, as he turns 16 today, June 18.
Taking to her Instagram page to share photos of her and her son over the years, she said watching him grow into the intelligent, kind, and amazing young man he is has been one of her greatest joys.
She expressed pride in the person he is and expressed excitement for the man he is becoming. Raining prayers on him, she appreciated him for bringing so much love, laughter, and happiness into her life.
Mercy said her heart is full and her eyes are teary because God has been faithful.
“My Juwon is 16 today, and my heart is overflowing with gratitude, joy, and love.
Sixteen years ago, God blessed me with one of the greatest gifts of my life, you, Olajuwonmi. Watching you grow into the intelligent, kind, and amazing young man you are today has been one of my greatest joys.
It feels like yesterday I held you in my arms and whispered prayers over your life. Today, those prayers continue as I thank God for His faithfulness, protection, and grace upon you.
I am so proud of the person you are and excited for the man you are becoming. My prayer is that God will guide your steps, protect your heart, and lead you into the beautiful purpose He has for your life.

In another post, she called Juwon her joy, and her answered prayer. Affirming her love for him, she committed him into God’s hands.

For his birthday last year, Aigbe had shared dapper photos of him, describing him as her sunshine. The dotting mum prayed for God’s favour, protection, and wisdom over him and affirmed her love for him.
In a follow-up post, she committed him to God’s hands. Describing him as her best son and star boy, Mercy praised his unique qualities and expressed fear at how beautiful and pure his heart is.
Joining her, her husband, Kazim Adeoti, penned a sweet post to him, describing him as a cool-headed, intelligent, and godly young man. He told Juwon to keep making them proud and prayed for him.
On his birthday eve, Mercy had shared photos of him showing off his swag, as she gushed over her mini-me, declaring him her chocolate, sweetheart and everything.
On Children’s Day, in 2025, she had skipped Priscilla Ojo’s wedding in Tanzania to report for manager duties with Juwon. Sharing photos of her and her son at the airport, the momager revealed that she was reporting for manager duties with her kid influencer son.
Following her managerial debut, Mercy gave fans a glimpse into her life since becoming the manager of Juwon. Sharing photos of them twinning, Aigbe described herself as the coolest manager.
In 2023, Aigbe had expressed joy as Juwon bagged his first influencing deal with a top clothing brand, Real Rhon Caress. To add to it, Juwon had opened his Instagram account.
In an Instagram post, Mercy sent a message to parents, especially those in custody battles with their kids. She admonished parents to do better, telling them to learn to settle their differences and focus on the well-being of their kids.
