What are some suggestions from Kenyans?

The strike comes only days after 17 students at Utumishi Girls Academy sadly lost their lives when their schoolmates burnt the dormitory, with many of them still asleep in their beds. It is, therefore, understandable why many parents were unhappy about the actions of the young girls.

“This one is a big no! Imagine these are Kapkolei Girls students, rioting and forcing their way out of school at night. What about their own safety? This is not the way; lives are precious, and such actions can easily lead to injuries, tragedy, or loss of life. No grievance is worth putting young lives at risk,”said former Naiorbi givernor Mike Sonko.

“No! Let us choose dialogue, discipline, and peaceful solutions,”he added.

Investigations into the cause of the strike are ongoing, with authorities expected to provide further details as inquiries continue.
