Nigerian cleric, Pastor Flourish Peters of LOGIC Church, has come under public criticism after a video emerged showing him dedicating a newly opened BBL (Brazilian Butt Lift) clinic in Lagos.
Reports indicate that the pastor was invited to pray over the facility by its owner, who is reportedly a member of his congregation. The dedication clip quickly circulated online, triggering widespread reactions and debate.
While some social media users defended the pastor, describing it as a routine act of blessing a member’s business, others argued that his involvement with a cosmetic surgery clinic was inappropriate for a church leader.
On X (formerly Twitter), user JP. Morgan expressed disapproval, saying:
“You’re making what God make better? Thank God say i no be God. God is merciful.”
Another user, Saint Michael, also questioned the language used during the dedication, writing:
“…to bloom, be beautiful and do great things? All these no too much for butt enlargement?”
However, some users supported Pastor Peters’ action. A user identified as @This is Kenn explained that the clinic owner is a church member and had invited him to pray for the business at its official launch, adding that such gestures are common within the church community.
Meanwhile, @Ayo CACExpert added a light-hearted remark, joking:
“Pastor dey re-create bum bum? God go just dey laugh.”
