Nigerian filmmaker Chinney Love has given actress Uche Jombo her flowers.
In an Instagram post, she praised the actress for her performance in her upcoming movie, saying she has been in awe.
She said she doesn’t know if anyone plays the African mother role better than she does, as she laughed in the studio and almost ran out of breath. According to Chinney, trouble is Uche’s name.
The filmmaker vowed to pack her bags and go to her village if the movie didn’t hit 5 million views.
“I do not know if anyone does this African mother role better than you. I laughed in the studio, and I almost ran out of breath…
Trouble is your second name, there’s nothing anybody wants to tell me…
If you have ever missed a release on our channel, this one is not to be missed.
If this movie doesn’t get up to 5million views, it means say I go park my bag commot from YouTube, in fact, commot from Nigeria. The movie is good like that.
My body is itching to release, but we are trying to make everything perfect.
@uchejombo”.

A few days ago, Ruth Kadiri sang the praises of Uche. Kadiri described her as her mother, noting how she has been there for her even before she became. Ruth said Uche taught her how to be there for others and promised to love her forever and to cherish her.
In the wake of Bolaji Ogunmola’s backlash over her frequent kissing scenes, Jombo came to her defence, making it clear that love scenes in films aren’t as fun to film as people think. She stated that though acting is a play, people shouldn’t joke with it.
While concurring with veteran, Kanayo Kanayo, Chinney noted how when she joined YouTube, there was so much love, and everyone was concerned about individual growth. But now, the space has become so toxic, hence why she took a break from the platform to focus and heal.
She noted how actors don’t want to act for producers anymore as everyone is now operating like a one-person army, forgetting that the movie industry is highly spiritual and they all need each other.
