OAUSTECH Begins 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry Screening Registration

Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), Okitipupa, Ondo State, has officially commenced registration for its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry admission screening exercise.

The university, formerly known as Ondo State University of Science and Technology (OSUSTECH), announced that candidates who selected OAUSTECH as their first-choice institution and scored a minimum of 150 in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are eligible to apply for the screening exercise.

According to the admission notice, candidates who initially selected the university as their second choice, or did not choose the institution at all during UTME registration, are required to complete a change of institution process through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) portal and make OAUSTECH their first choice before proceeding with registration. Direct Entry applicants are also required to select OAUSTECH as their first-choice institution.

The university emphasized that all applicants must possess at least five relevant O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings. However, candidates seeking admission into Nursing Science, Medical Laboratory Science, and Public Health must present their O’Level results in one sitting.

OAUSTECH further directed all applicants to upload their O’Level results and other relevant qualifications such as WAEC, NECO, GCE, JUPEB, IJMB, ND, and related certificates to the JAMB portal.

For admission eligibility, candidates must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2026.

Special admission requirements were also announced for health-related programmes. Candidates applying for Nursing Science and Medical Laboratory Science must have scored at least 200 in the 2026 UTME, while applicants for Public Health must have scored a minimum of 180. Nursing candidates are scheduled to participate in the Post-UTME examination on September 30, 2026, while dates for Medical Laboratory Science and Public Health screening exercises will be announced later.

The university disclosed that the Post-UTME registration fee is Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000) only. Payments are to be made online using an ATM card through the university’s admission portal.

Applicants are advised to visit the OAUSTECH admission portal, create an account using their valid UTME or Direct Entry registration number, and carefully complete all registration stages. The institution warned candidates to ensure that their registration details, particularly names and registration numbers, correspond exactly with the information on their JAMB records.

OAUSTECH offers admission opportunities across several academic schools, including the School of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources, School of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences, School of Earth Sciences, School of Engineering and Engineering Technology, School of Management Sciences, School of Science, and the School of Computing.

Available programmes include Agriculture-related courses, Nursing Science, Medical Laboratory Science, Public Health, Applied Geology, Geophysics, Meteorology, Marine Science, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum and Gas Engineering, Accounting, Economics, Public Administration, Project Management, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, and Cyber Security, among others.

The university advised prospective students to carefully review the specific admission requirements for their chosen programmes before completing registration.

Candidates applying for Nursing Science, Medical Laboratory Science, and Public Health are required to print their completed application forms and present them during the Post-UTME screening exercise.
