Operatives of the Nigeria Police Force have successfully rescued Mrs. Olaide Busayo Adegoke John-Paul and her 12-year-old twin sons during a late-night tactical operation.
A statement by the force indicates that the victims, who were abducted three days earlier, were rescued unharmed after police operatives engaged their captors in a fierce gun battle.
Two suspected kidnappers were neutralised during the operation, while two firearms were recovered from the scene. Police have launched a manhunt for other members of the gang who escaped.
The Force says the successful rescue underscores its commitment to dismantling kidnapping syndicates and safeguarding lives and property across the country.
