Voting is underway in the Rivers South-East Senatorial District by-election, with electoral activities progressing smoothly at Polling Unit 6, Ward 16, in Gokana Local Government Area.
Officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) were on the ground as accreditation and voting commenced simultaneously at the polling unit.
Former senator representing the district, Magnus Abe, was also present at the polling unit to cast his vote in the by-election.
