In the viral clip, the lady claimed she received ₦15,000 in exchange for her vote and openly celebrated the alleged payment while showing the cash on camera.

Speaking in the video, she said:

“APC for life. 15,000 Naira per vote, don’t whine me.”

The video quickly attracted attention online, with many Nigerians debating the implications of the claim and what it means for the country’s democratic process.

Critics condemned the alleged incident, arguing that vote-buying undermines electoral integrity and weakens public confidence in elections. Others, however, questioned the authenticity of the woman’s claim and called for authorities to verify the circumstances surrounding the video.

The clip has since fueled discussions about voter inducement, accountability, and the challenges facing Nigeria’s electoral system.

Some social media users also expressed frustration over the recurring allegations of vote-buying during elections, urging relevant authorities to investigate and take appropriate action where necessary.
