According to social media videos and images posted on Thursday, security personnel in Atiba, Odogbolu LGA, Ogun State, Nigeria, arrested two individuals who were identified as Fulani herders for possessing substantial sums of money.
No firearms were recorded, and Ogun State Police has not yet commented on the precise amount or cause of suspicion.
The incident takes place in the midst of local kidnapping tensions, which include the arrest of Seriki Fulani and his son in May 2026.
Opinions are divided between requests for vigilance and worries about ethnic profiling.
