Nollywood stars are rejoicing with celebrity designer Luminee following the birth of her baby boy with actor Baba Ijesha.
Kemi Filani reported hours ago that the Yoruba actor, who was imprisoned for raping a minor, announced that he had welcomed a child with the celebrity stylist. He said that God had been writing his story and had given him more than he prayed for – a wife and now a baby boy.
Confirming the news, Luminee expressed how overwhelmed she was with joy at their baby’s birth. She affirmed her love for Ijesha, saying he is one in a million and his heart is pure.
While others are condemning Luminee over her decision, some celebrities took to her comment section to rejoice with her.

Refreshing your memory, in 2021, Princess, accused Ijesha of defiling her 14-year-old ward. In a video that was made available online, the actress accused Baba Ijesha of molesting her daughter without consent.
Nollywood stars Iyabo Ojo and Yomi Fabiyi fought over the issue, with the former supporting Princess’s side of the story. At the same time, the latter took a stand in support of his colleague.
In 2022, Baba Ijesha had bagged 5 years imprisonment for raping comedienne, Princess’s 14 years old daughter.
On Friday, November 15th, 2025, the famous actor was released from prison, after spending over three years in custody over alleged sexual assault.
Announcing his release, actor Yomi Fabiyi shared on Instagram that he had been cleared by the Appeal Court. He stated that Ijesha wasn’t just back, but was better, and expressed his happiness that he had been cleared.
In his first public post, Ijesha expressed gratitude to an unknown person, likely Yomi Fabiyi, for his support. He made the person aware that he had just arrived, was about to leave the vicinity, and was looking for a place to relax. Praying for the person, he declared that he wouldn’t be disgraced.
Speaking out, Baba Ijesha, in an interview with Biola, had addressed his rape allegations, maintaining that he isn’t a pedophile nor a rapist. He said Princess knows she has betrayed everyone she has ever been friends with, and expressed how hurt he was by how Iyabo Ojo turned on him. He noted that he had taken care of her kids when they were younger, yet she doubted him.
