Nollywood actress Ini Dima Okojie and her husband, Eneobong Abasi, have finally welcomed their child, a baby boy.
The actress shared the good news on her Instagram page as she celebrates her birthday today. Ini noted how her birthdays every year come with a photoshoot, glam, and a carefully planned concept, but this year is different.
She said there is no role she has ever played that has humbled, stretched, or challenged her. The new mum described the past weeks as the most beautiful, overwhelming, exhausting, and rewarding of her life.
Dima Okojie added that getting to know her baby has been her greatest gift. She admitted that the newborn phase is no joke and she didn’t fully understand what was waiting for her, but even on the hardest days, she wouldn’t trade the journey for anything.

This year, none of that felt quite right.
Instead, I’m sharing a photo from the day my son was born. The day my life changed forever.
Because as special as every birthday has been, this one feels different. This year, I celebrate as a mother.
There is no role I have ever played that has humbled me, stretched me, challenged me, or filled my heart quite like this one. These past weeks have been some of the most beautiful, overwhelming, exhausting, and rewarding of my life.
Getting to know this tiny human, the cutest boy with the sweetest dimples, has been the greatest gift. Watching him grow, learning from him, loving him, and caring for him has shown me strengths I didn’t know I had. It has also given me an even deeper appreciation for mothers everywhere. The newborn phase is no joke, and I definitely didn’t fully understand what was waiting for me. But even on the hardest days, I wouldn’t trade this journey for anything.
I feel incredibly grateful that God chose me for this responsibility and entrusted me with such a precious life.

In March, the actress, who tied the knot five years ago, announced that she and her husband, Abasi Eneobong are expecting their first child. Sharing a video of her baby bump, she expressed excitement at finally becoming a mother and how in awe she is of her body changing.
The soon-to-be mum shared a video of the emotional moment she found out she was pregnant. In the clip, Ini was seen holding the strip test otherwise known as a urine dipstick as she shed tears of joy. Her husband, who was recording the video, and at the background comforting her.
