Popular social media activist and influencer, VeryDarkMan, was reportedly spotted at the Abuja airport on Monday morning as he prepared to travel to Ibadan, Oyo State, for the ongoing “End Insecurity” protest.
A video currently making the rounds on social media shows the activist at the airport, with supporters claiming he was heading to join demonstrators calling for urgent action to address Nigeria’s worsening security challenges.
The protest, which has attracted attention across several states, is focused on rising concerns over kidnappings, killings, and other violent crimes affecting communities nationwide. Participants are demanding stronger measures from authorities to protect lives and restore public confidence in security agencies.
Organisers and supporters of the movement are also calling on both state governments and the Federal Government to take urgent and decisive action toward securing the immediate release of kidnapped school children and their teachers, while intensifying efforts to curb further abductions across affected regions.
