Nigerian businessman Wale Jana has weighed in on Baba Ijesha and Luminee’s story.
Kemi Filani reported that on Monday, the popular designer shocked many when she announced the birth of her son with the controversial actor.
On his Instagram page, the entrepreneur noted how Baba Ijesha is a registered s3x offender, yet that didn’t stop God from showing him Mercy or giving him a new beginning. He noted that Ijesha didn’t just marry; he married an accomplished, successful woman and has a son with her.
Wale admonished those who are searching for a wife to ask God for mercy. He said Ijesha’s case is proof that God doesn’t consult men to show mercy.

When I saw this post, my mouth went because of Baba Ijesha. You know there’s a difference when people accuse you of something, and there is no proof, but when you take a matter to court, and you’re found guilty, and go to prison for it, then it’s a totally different ball game. Baba Ijesha is a registered sex offender, but that has not stopped God from showing him mercy or giving him a new beginning.

Recall that in 2021, comedienne Princess accused Ijesha of defiling her 14-year-old ward. In a video that was made available online, the actress accused Baba Ijesha of molesting her daughter without consent.
In 2022, Baba Ijesha had bagged 5 years imprisonment for raping comedienne, Princess’s 14 years old daughter.
On Friday, November 15th, 2025, the famous actor was released from prison, after spending over three years in custody over alleged sexual assault.
Speaking out, Baba Ijesha, in an interview with Biola, had addressed his rape allegations, maintaining that he isn’t a pedophile nor a rapist. He said Princess knows she has betrayed everyone she has ever been friends with, and expressed how hurt he was by how Iyabo Ojo turned on him. He noted that he had taken care of her kids when they were younger, yet she doubted him.
