Fresh controversy has emerged following the death of Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo, as another individual claiming to be a cousin of the late actor has publicly raised questions about the circumstances surrounding his passing.
In a post circulating on social media, the alleged relative expressed support for earlier statements made by other individuals claiming to be members of the Ekubo family, insisting that several unanswered questions remain.
According to the post, the family was allegedly unaware of Alexx Ekubo’s marriage and claimed they were shocked to learn he had a wife. The writer further alleged that the marriage was arranged without the knowledge of the Ekubo family and questioned who accompanied the actor during the bride price ceremony.
The alleged cousin also claimed that Alexx had become distant from his biological family and was instead closely associated with his stepmother’s family.
Raising concerns about the actor’s death, the writer questioned reports that Alexx had been battling cancer, asking about what was described as a blood clot visible on one of his eyes and whether it was related to the illness.
The post further alleged that Alexx’s biological family was not informed about the severity of his condition before his death and questioned the arrangements surrounding his burial.
