Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo is celebrating her son, Festus Ojo, as he turns 27 today.
Sharing a video collage of herself and the celebrant, she described him as her pride, joy, and answered prayer. Iyabo said watching him grow into the man he is today fills her heart with nothing but gratitude.

She said he carries light and grace, and his name well, and told him to keep shining brighter than gold. Raining prayers on him, she affirmed her love for her son.

For his birthday last year, Iyabo had written beautiful words for him, describing him as her first fruit and love, as she rained prayers on him.
Joining her, Lola Alao, described Festus as her son and she expressed pride and sang a birthday song for him. She described the celebrant as a child people can use to ask God for children, and ladies pray to marry.
In 2024, she celebrated as her son, finally graduated from Altinbas University in Istanbul, Turkey. Sharing photos from the graduation ceremony, Iyabo appreciated her son for making her proud as she noted how his graduation is a testament to his hard work and dedication. Iyabo used the opportunity to lament her plight as a single mother as she admitted that it wasn’t easy.
On her son’s birthday, in 2023, the popular actress, queried Festus about his love life, questioning when she would meet his girlfriend. Iyabo further spoke on his personality as she expressed how blessed she was to be his mother, as he is the best son any mother could wish for.
In other news, Iyabo shared her painful experiences of surviving as a single mother and being treated as a second-class citizen due to her failed marriage. Iyabo recounted how people called her all manner of names because of her failed marriage both in the movie industry and the world at large.
