Jennifer Odonwodo, the widow of late Nollywood actor Junior Pope, has lamented over her plight of being a widow.
On her Instagram page, she spoke on widowhood as she cried out over how her husband didn’t consider their boys.

While remembering him on his 2nd death anniversary, she recounted the devastating moment she received the news of his passing and how she was in denial for hours and had hoped for his resurrection. Jennifer said it hasn’t been easy, but God has been faithful.

On April 10th, 2025, the mother of three celebrated his one-year remembrance. She noted that it’s been a year of standing in the face of unimaginable loss, and not a day has gone by without a thought of him. She said her late husband had no idea how tough it had been trying to stay strong for each other as the world around them fell apart.
On his 45th posthumous birthday, she expressed sadness at not being able to celebrate him anymore with her different surprises and now, celebrating him with tears and memories.
she had celebrated her 11th wedding anniversary with Pope. She said she was having mixed feelings, and was pained at his physical absence but joyed that he indeed lives on. Jennifer said that sometimes, she gets so overwhelmed that she tells anyone besides her that her late husband would come back.
Laat year, Junior Pope’s wife had set the internet on fire as she shared a video of herself and Mercy Johnson showing off their curves as they posed for the camera.
A Twitter user, identified as Obiasogu noted how she looked stunning and slammed her for already moving on. He stated that the burden of raising three kid-boys doesn’t even seem to show on her.
