2026 World Cup: England get triple injury boost ahead of Norway quarter-final

England could have the trio of Declan Rice, Marc Guehi and Reece James fit for their 2026 World Cup quarter-final clash against Norway.

Rice has been ill following the last-16 win in Mexico and even had to be kept away from team-mates.

Guehi sat out the team’s training session on Thursday with concerns over a hamstring issue.

However, both players were able to part in training in Miami on Friday, ahead of Saturday’s showdown with Norway in the city.

James also took part in the session, his first since sustaining a hamstring injury during England’s second group stage game against Ghana.

Head coach Thomas Tuchel is yet to confirm their availability for selection.
