Blaqbonez Takes Legal Action Against Odumodublvck Over Alleged Defamatory Claims

The ongoing feud between Nigerian rap stars Blaqbonez and Odumodublvck has escalated, with the Chocolate City artiste taking legal action against his colleague over alleged defamatory remarks.

Blaqbonez, whose real name is Emeka Akumefule, has filed a legal claim demanding N2.55 billion in damages, accusing Odumodublvck of making statements that have allegedly harmed his reputation, career prospects, business interests, and emotional wellbeing.

The lawsuit comes after Odumodublvck recently revived their public dispute by making allegations that some influential personalities in the Nigerian entertainment industry were protecting Blaqbonez from sexual abuse claims.

In a letter dated July 7, 2026, and issued by Punuka Attorneys & Solicitors, Blaqbonez’s legal representatives accused Odumodublvck, born Tochukwu Ojogwu, of engaging in what they described as a continuous pattern of defamation, intimidation, and online harassment.

The lawyers claimed that Odumodublvck’s repeated online statements, which allegedly portrayed Blaqbonez as a “sexual abuser,” had subjected the rapper to public backlash and damaged his professional image and commercial opportunities.

According to the legal team, the allegations made against their client were false, harmful, and intentionally aimed at tarnishing his reputation.

Aside from seeking financial compensation, Blaqbonez is also asking the court to order Odumodublvck to delete all disputed posts, videos, and related materials shared on his social media platforms.

The rapper is further demanding a public apology from Odumodublvck, to be posted on his verified social media accounts and kept pinned for a minimum of 30 days.

Additionally, Blaqbonez wants Odumodublvck to publicly urge his supporters to stop any form of harassment, threats, or intimidation directed at him online.

The legal notice reportedly gives Odumodublvck seven days to meet the demands before further legal proceedings are initiated.

The development follows weeks of public exchanges between the two rappers.

Odumodublvck had previously alleged that some figures within the Nigerian music industry were shielding Blaqbonez from sexual abuse allegations. He also accused Chocolate City, Blaqbonez’s record label, of attempting on multiple occasions to get him arrested.
