The video, which has since gone viral, shows the four suspects wearing masks and caps as they arrived at the mall on a motorcycle.
Three of the men entered the building while one remained outside as the getaway rider.
A security guard initially approached the rider but appeared to be threatened and quickly walked away.
Moments later, as other people, including another boda boda rider, approached the entrance, the suspect brandished a gun, forcing them to flee.

He then entered the mall, leaving another suspect who had emerged from the building to guard the getaway motorcycle.
As the three armed men entered a small restaurant, they dragged a customer who was seated near the entrance to the floor before proceeding inside.
Reports indicate that the gunmen bypassed several major establishments within the mall, including an I&M Bank branch, a Safaricom shop and a supermarket, before heading straight to the small restaurant.
Once inside, they allegedly ignored the cashier and went directly to a specific table where a customer was seated.
Employees from a neighbouring business were seen fleeing in panic, fearing for their lives, as the armed men calmly walked out of the building, boarded their motorcycle and sped off.
It is also alleged that the suspects fired gunshots into the air during the raid shortly before fleeing the scene.
Following the incident, the Director of Criminal Investigations ordered a thorough investigation and the immediate arrest of the armed suspects captured on CCTV.
