Davido, Tems, Wizkid to headline AfroPlus Fest

Afrobeat stars: Davido, Tems, and Wizkid, will headline the 2026 AfroPlus Fest scheduled for September 4 to 6, 2026 at the Washington Commanders’ stadium grounds in Maryland, United States of America.

The organisers announced the lineup, which included the trio and other Nigerian artists, on the festival’s official Instagram page.

Davido will headline the opening night on September 4, Tems will lead the second day on September 5, while Wizkid will close the festival on September 6.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the three-day music festival is scheduled to be held over the US Labour Day weekend.

Other artistes billed to perform include Tiwa Savage, Ayra Starr and Olamide, alongside American rappers Lil Baby, Latto, Sexyy Red, and Chief Keef, as well as Jamaican dancehall artiste Alkaline.

NAN reports that the festival returns for its 2026 edition after debuting as a one-day event in Washington, D.C. in August 2025 drawing an estimated 20,000 attendees, according to the organisers.

Meanwhile, fans across social media have continued to express excitement over the appearance of Davido, Tems, and Wizkid at the same festival, describing the all-star lineup as another milestone for Afrobeats on the global stage.
