EXCLUSIVE: Donald Trump ‘body double’ Spotted In Interview Background Sparks Conspiracy Theory

A mystery man bearing an uncanny resemblance to Donald Trump was spotted in the background of a post-World Cup final interview, reigniting body double conspiracy theories

What could possibly be worse than one Donald Trump?

Following the World Cup final on 19 July, Trump was speaking to reporters when a mysterious figure bearing a striking resemblance to the US president appeared in the background.

The unidentified man even shared the same stocky build as The Don and was leaning forward as though he were struggling to support the weight of his own enormous, orange head.

The footage has been spreading rapidly across social media, reigniting speculation surrounding the persistent conspiracy theory that the commander-in-chief employs a body double, reports the Daily Star.

Online sleuths believe they have since identified Trump’s alleged mystery lookalike, though some remain unconvinced.

The 80-year-old has finally been relieved of his hosting duties now that the 2026 World Cup has drawn to a close, and he believes his nation has done a tremendous job of welcoming football fans.

While speaking to journalists about the tournament’s success following Spain’s victory over Argentina on Sunday 19 July, Trump opted for a rather peculiar turn of phrase to describe the occasion.

“I thought it was incredible,” he said. “It was four-times greater than any FIFA ever held. It’s probably about five times, actually, they’re telling me today.”

Comedian Jon Stewart could not resist ridiculing the president during Monday’s edition of The Daily Show, laughing along with viewers as they watched footage of his ‘perceptive post-match analysis’. The 63 year old television personality then jokingly questioned: “What’s a FIFA? How do you hold a FIFA, how can our FIFA be ‘four-times greater’ than any other FIFA?”.
