FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup: Flamingos draw Poland, Puerto Rico, Korea DPR

Nigeria’s U-17 women’s national team, the Flamingos, will return home on the back of another successful FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualification campaign.

The team is scheduled to depart Lomé, Togo, at 3:15 p.m. and arrive in Lagos at 5:15 p.m. Nigerian time following the conclusion of the qualifying series.

The qualification marks another significant milestone for the Flamingos, who have consistently established themselves among the leading teams in youth women’s football.

Following the official draw for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Morocco 2026, Nigeria has been drawn in Group B alongside Poland, Puerto Rico, and Korea DPR, the two-time defending champions.

The tournament will take place in Morocco from 17 October to 7 November 2026.
