Nollywood actress Annie Macaulay Idibia is still dismissing reports that she is back with her ex-husband, 2baba.
Kemi Filani reported days back that reports circulated that the actress had reunited with her ex, 2baba. An unverified video circulated online in which she allegedly spoke about her reunion with him, saying she was misled but that she eventually found her way back to him.
Reacting to it, Annie lamented over how old videos and false news about her were circulating online.
Still on it, the mother of two, via her Snapchat page, said she is single and not going back anywhere. Annie noted how she doesn’t live in 2baba’s house.
The movie star made it known that her main priority is her 2 daughters and her career.

On Valentine’s Day this year, she had shown off the luxury treatment she received from a mystery man. The former Mrs Idibia had gotten a mountain of flowers, Teddy bears and luxury items. She stated that the thoughts and the little things count for her, as she appreciated them for making her smile
In a previous post, she had revealed what she was looking for in her next relationship. The mother of two said she wanted a relationship where they both become hotter, healthier, happier, and wealthier together. She emphasized that she wants the little things.
Refreshing your memory, in January last year, her legendary singer husband, 2baba, had announced his separation from her. He has since moved on from her with Edo-state lawmaker Natasha Osawaru.
At the Headies Awards, last year, Annie had declared her daughters her backbone.
Also, at the award ceremony, Annie made headlines when she took a swipe at her ex-husband with her introduction. She made it known that she was no longer Annie Idibia but Annie Macaulay and announced to the world that she is single.
After her divorce from 2baba, Annie marked a new beginning, by deleting all her photos and posts from her Instagram page. She penned an appreciation post, thanking her support system for standing by her through her tough time.
In a cryptic post, the popular actress had unburdened her heart, expressing hope that her daughter doesn’t accept things she accepted and that she knows her worth from the start and knows that no matter what, she always has her in her corner.
She had shared a post about moving on, stating that she just archives and moves on.
The actress, stated that she was enjoying her peace of mind, and noted how she is a child of grace.
In another post, the former Mrs Idibia had written a note to herself, praising herself for doing it so graciously and took pride in herself.
While celebrating the New Year, Annie reflected on her painful blessings in 2025, noting how 2025 had thrown her a lot, yet she remained standing.
