Controversial Nigerian social media personality Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky, has shared details about her personal health routine, revealing that she undergoes regular HIV tests despite claiming she has not been sexually active for several years.
The crossdresser disclosed that she gets tested every six months as a way of prioritising preventive healthcare and maintaining peace of mind.
Bobrisky made the revelation via her Instagram Story, explaining that the decision is not driven by fear but by her preference for staying informed about her health status.
According to the internet personality, routine screening has become a habit she values and does not intend to stop, regardless of her current circumstances.
She noted that although she believes she is not at risk, she would rather confirm her status through regular checks than make assumptions.
“I’m so weird. Every six months, I still go for an HIV test even though I haven’t been with anyone in years,” she wrote.
Further explaining her choice, Bobrisky said she prefers prevention over waiting until health issues arise, adding that regular testing gives her reassurance.
“God knows I just don’t like taking chances or relying on medication. Prevention and peace of mind will always win,” she added.
