“I Woke Up and My Flight Had Left” – Korra Obidi Cries Out After Missing Lagos Flight, Pays $500 for New Ticket

Nigerian singer and dancer Korra Obidi has shared her frustration after missing her Lagos-bound flight, describing it as the worst travel experience she has ever had. The entertainer revealed that she was forced to spend an extra $500 on another ticket after allegedly missing her flight while waiting at the boarding gate.

In a video shared on her Instagram page, Korra explained that she had been waiting for several hours at the boarding gate before she dozed off. When she woke up, she discovered that the aircraft had already departed.

According to her, she was travelling with Royal Air Maroc and claimed there was no announcement informing passengers that boarding for the Lagos flight had started.

“This has to be the worst flight experience I have ever had in my life. This is Royal Air Maroc, and everything was going great until I was sitting at the boarding gate. I didn’t even know they were boarding Lagos. I was just sleeping. I opened my eyes and my flight had left.”

The singer said she had no choice but to buy another ticket to Lagos, which cost her an additional $500.

She also revealed that despite purchasing the replacement ticket, she was not allowed back into the boarding area because the next flight was scheduled for midnight.

“I had to pay $500 to buy another transit flight to Lagos. Now they’re telling me I cannot go inside because it’s too early to board. I have to stay out here for four hours.”

Korra further disclosed that she had already spent about eight hours waiting before missing the first flight. She maintained that she was seated directly in front of the boarding gate and insisted no announcement was made calling her name or informing passengers that boarding had commenced before the plane departed.
