Lere Olayinka Blasts Isaac Fayose Over Criticism of Brother’s REA Appointment

Lere Olayinka, an aide to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Wike has taken a swipe at businessman Isaac Fayose following his public criticism of his elder brother, former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose.

In a post shared on social media, Olayinka wrote:

> “It is only when you are an untrained child or a b@stard that you will always come to social media to insult, ridicule and disparage your own blood elder or younger brother.”

Although he did not mention Isaac Fayose by name, the post came just hours after the businessman urged his elder brother to reject his recent appointment by President Bola Tinubu.

Isaac Fayose had earlier reacted to the appointment of Ayodele Fayose as Chairman of the Board of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), describing the role as below the former governor’s political stature. He argued that Fayose should decline the appointment and instead allow his son to take up the position.

President Tinubu had on Monday announced the appointment of Ayodele Fayose as Chairman of the REA Board as part of a broader list of appointments into the boards of several federal agencies.
