“Marry the man who checks on you after an argument” – Toke Makinwa advises ladies

Media personality Toke Makinwa has advised ladies in relationships.

On her Instagram story, she shared a message on what she believes people should look out for in a life partner. She advised women to marry the man who calls after an argument to make sure they are okay, rather than one who leaves them alone to deal with their pain.

Makinwa stressed that one should choose a partner who stays when things get difficult and seeks understanding rather than trying to win every argument.

She added that a man who is willing to pause, hold his partner, and sincerely apologise because he values the relationship more than his ego is the kind of partner to build a future with.

“Marry the man who calls you after an argument just to make sure you’re okay.
Not the one who leaves you alone with your tears. Choose the man who stays when things get hard and wants to understand you, not defeat you.
A man who can pause, hold you, and say ‘I’m sorry’, because your relationship matters more to him than his ego”.
