Nigerian social commentator Geh Geh has sparked widespread reactions after advising men not to have all their children with one woman.
In a viral video, Geh Geh argued that men should have children with different women, claiming that modern relationship dynamics have shifted in favour of women when it comes to child custody and access.
According to him, many fathers risk losing access to their children if disagreements arise with the child’s mother. He argued that a man’s involvement in a child’s life is often tied to the responsibilities he provides, adding that conflicts could result in limited contact with the child.
“The worst mistake that you can make as a man na to allow one woman born for you. No make that mistake o. If na 4 children you wan born, make like 4 different women born am for you… Modern problems require modern solutions. Man no dey get pikin na woman get pikin. If a woman is including you in the ownership of a child na because of responsibility. So once you no do wetin she want she go restrict your access. You go come old and you no get pikin,” he said.
The comments have generated mixed reactions online, with some social media users agreeing with his concerns about fathers’ rights, while others criticised the advice as irresponsible and likely to promote broken homes.
