Nigerian content creator Jarvis, whose real name is Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, has sparked widespread reactions online after revealing a set of strict requirements for guests planning to attend her upcoming wedding.
During a recent livestream, Jarvis announced that buying aso ebi would be compulsory for anyone hoping to be part of the ceremony. She stated that guests without the official wedding fabric would not be granted access to the venue, stressing that there would be no exceptions.
The content creator also shared her expectations regarding wedding gifts, advising attendees to come with electrical appliances instead of the common household items often presented at Nigerian weddings.
She further addressed the tradition of spraying money at celebrations, stating that guests would be better off coming with dollar notes. However, she added that naira would also be accepted, as long as they are higher denominations such as ₦500 and ₦1,000 notes.
The video from the livestream quickly went viral, attracting mixed reactions from Nigerians on social media. While some found her demands amusing, others described the wedding guidelines as unusually strict and entertaining.
