Gbemso, the new woman of actress Anita Joseph’s ex-husband, MC Fish, has sent a message to divorced women.
On her Instagram story, she reposted a post warning women against trying to bring their husbands down after divorce. The post noted how not every man is like actor Yul Edochie.
“It seems there is this new trend of ‘Man must go down’ when there is divorce.
Come on. This ain’t cool at all.
Not all of us will buy into this. You all can’t play Queen May’s real-life experience in a divorce saga.
Sometimes divorce happens simply cuz the marriage isn’t working.
Not every man is a Yul, and not every woman is a Queen May.
Reacting to the post, Gbemso noted that innocent blogs are being used aas tools. According to her, women have weaponised the voice that is meant for people in pain to destroy men just because of the hurt of being divorced.
She expressed sadness over such behaviour, expressing belief that truth would always prevail.
“And innocent blogs are being used as a tool; women have weaponised the voice that is meant for people in pain to destroy men just because of the hurt of being divorced. It’s very sad, but the truth would always prevail”.

While sharing loved-up photos, Gbemso said the make-up s3x with MC Fish reassured her that it was worth every single insult. According to her, it proved that God really meant it when he said it was her time to smile.
Earlier this year, photos and videos of the MC and his new girlfriend had gone viral online, drawing backlash from netizens.
Addressing it, MC Fish said life has always been unfair to men, and he stands by his point. He noted how if a woman leaves a relationship and finds another man, people will say she found happiness, but it is different for a man, as he would be accused of cheating on his wife with his new partner.
In a shading post, he stated that he was glad that, despite all the allegations about him, no one has said he isn’t good in bed.
Also speaking out, Gbemso made it clear that she didn’t wreck his marriage; when she met him, he was single, and they started their relationship. According to her, both of them dated people in the past who didn’t appreciate them. She said that when they found each other, and it was so beautiful.
Recall that in December of last year, Joseph had finally confirmed that her marriage had ended, noting how life has a way of testing our strength in ways we never expect, especially in marriage. She revealed that she has been walking through a season of deep reflection, pain, and healing, and was choosing grace, growth, and faith.
In an interview with Chude Jideonwo, Fish said he doesn’t regret getting married at 27 because he felt happy and respected. The hype man said he saw everything he wanted in a marriage, hence why he married the actress. He said he learnt from his failed marriage that honesty is vital in any relationship from both parties.
