Osun 2026: Oyebamiji visits family of slain APC loyalist, accident victims

The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Osun State, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, popularly called AMBO, has visited the families of a slain loyalist of the party and victims of an accident in the Eye area of the state.

He pledged academic scholarship from elementary up to the university level for the seven-month-old baby of the slain APC loyalist who lost his life to the motor accident that occurred recently in Ede.

Asiwaju Oyebamiji also announced the facilitation of permanent employment for the wife of the deceased and a member of his family.

Recall that on June 23, 2026, a trailer rammed into the APC members during a peaceful canvassers inauguration in Ede-North Local Government Area.

The ugly incident claimed the life of Ahmed Abdulrazak, a party loyalist, as many sustained degrees of injury.

Meanwhile, the APC flag bearer, during a condolence visit to the bereaved family, disclosed the readiness to support them, particularly the child of the deceased.

Oyebamiji, who was represented by his wife, Dr. Sekinah Bola-Oyebamiji, said: “We had already settled all the hospital bills of the victims, but this visit is about something money can’t cover, it is about showing up, and reminding them that they are not bearing this burden alone.

“We have visited each of the victims in their homes across Owode-Ede and Ede, to mourn with their families and pray for them.

“We beseeched God to grant the bereaved family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss of their loved one.

“In honour of the deceased, late Ahmed Abdulrazak, we extended support to his family in cash and as well as a scholarship to the university level for his seven-month-old baby.

“We equally facilitate permanent employment for his wife and a member of his family.

“To the bereaved family, we expressed our deepest condolences and to the injured, we wish them a full and quick recovery.”
