Pidomson Mourns With Amaechi Over Mother’s Death

The African Democratic Congress, ADC, Governorship Candidate in Rivers State, Dr. Gabriel Pidomson, has commiserated with former Governor of Rivers State and ADC Vice Presidential Candidate for 2027, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, over the passing of his mother, Ezinne Mary Oduah Amaechi.

In a statement issued by the Pidomson Campaign Organisation in Port Harcourt on Thursday, Dr. Pidomson said he received the news of Ezinne Amaechi’s death at the age of 84 with a heavy heart.

Dr. Pidomson described the late matriarch as a woman of strength whose guidance and sacrifices laid the foundation for her son’s outstanding service to Rivers State and Nigeria.

“The values of strength, service, integrity, and leadership that you have consistently demonstrated in your service to Rivers people and Nigeria are a reflection of the exceptional woman who raised you,” he said.

“She was indeed a great mother. Though she has departed this earthly life, her prayers, virtues, and enduring legacy will continue to live on through you and in the countless lives you have touched.”

He added that Ezinne Mary Oduah Amaechi lived a life of faith, compassion and selfless service to her family, community, Rivers State and Nigeria.

Dr. Pidomson said Mama’s passing presents an opportunity for Rivers people to demonstrate the unity and love she preached throughout her lifetime.

“At this solemn moment, I urge all Rivers people, irrespective of political, ethnic, or religious differences, to honour her memory by embracing the values of peace, harmony, and mutual respect that she exemplified,” he stated.

“There can be no better tribute to her life than our collective commitment to the unity and progress of Rivers State.”

On behalf of his family and the entire ADC family in Rivers State, Dr. Pidomson extended his deepest condolences to the Amaechi family and the people of Ubima.

“May Almighty God grant you and the entire Amaechi family the strength and fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss. May He grant Mama eternal rest and everlasting peace in His heavenly kingdom,” he prayed.

He further disclosed that he would pay a condolence visit to the family in Ubima in due course and assured them of his thoughts, prayers, and solidarity during this difficult period.
