In Adamawa State, police operatives, working with the Civilian Joint Task Force (JTF), raided a kidnappers’ hideout in Ba’a Usman Forest, Fufore Local Government Area, arresting two suspects identified as Muhammadu Ibrahim, 35, and Isah Jahogi, 25.

A locally made pistol was recovered, while investigators linked the suspects to a kidnapping syndicate operating in Fufore and Jada LGAs.
In Kogi State, a joint security team foiled an abduction along the Kabba–Ayere Road after launching a bush-combing operation and deploying tear gas, forcing the kidnappers to flee.
Six kidnapped victims were rescued and two vehicles recovered, while efforts continue to rescue other passengers.
In Delta State, police recorded multiple breakthroughs, including the arrest of a robbery suspect with a stolen motorcycle, the apprehension of a suspected abductor, rapist and fraudster identified by five complainants, and the arrest of a suspected cultist from whom three locally made pistols and a single-barrel gun were recovered.
Police also arrested suspected kidnappers and cultists in Nasarawa, Edo and Lagos states, recovering firearms, live cartridges and suspected illicit drugs during the operations.
In Akwa Ibom, officers raided a suspected criminal hideout in Ikot Ekpene, arresting three suspected drug dealers and recovering large quantities of substances believed to be cannabis.
Meanwhile, in Benue State, police arrested a 19-year-old suspect over alleged cattle rustling and the killing of a resident, while in Ebonyi State, officers intercepted suspected armed robbers blocking a road in Ngbo, arresting one suspect and recovering a pump-action gun and two live cartridges.
The police said investigations are ongoing in all the cases, with efforts intensified to arrest fleeing suspects and dismantle the criminal networks.
