Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has reignited the long-running football debate after declaring that Lionel Messi is “light years ahead” of Cristiano Ronaldo.
In a strongly worded post, the rapper dismissed comparisons between the two football icons, insisting that Ronaldo has “never been close” to Messi in terms of ability and overall greatness.
Odumodublvck rejected the common narrative that Ronaldo’s success is built solely on hard work while Messi’s is purely down to natural talent, arguing that both players possess exceptional talent and an extraordinary work ethic.
He further claimed that Messi’s superiority serves as a lesson in humility, suggesting that God placed the Argentine legend ahead of Ronaldo to “humble” him and to demonstrate “the consequences of a childish ego.”
