Nollywood actress Rosy Meurer seems to have severed all ties with ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill.
Kemi Filani noticed that the actress has removed her husband’s last name, ‘Churchill’, from her official Instagram account.
A look at her Instagram page shows she has gone from being addressed as Rosy Meurer Churchill to just Rosy Meurer.

In April, the couple had hinted at breakup as they unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Blogger, Linda Ikeji claimed that Rosy had filed for dissolution of marriage to Churchill.
Confirming the news, Churchill, shared a cryptic post about prioritising his kids above anyone. He vowed to pick his kids over anyone or anything.
In a previous post, he had shared a video of his first daughter and his son with Tonto Dikeh enjoying sibling time together in Abuja. Churchill expressed pride in watching them love each other the way they do, with a connection that feels natural and effortless.
Not done, Churchill said there was no basis for Rosy to file a notice of hearing for the dissolution of their marriage, as they were never legally married. He also dismissed the notion that Rosy stood by him, noting how anyone else could have stood by him if Rosy weren’t in his life.
Speaking out, Rosy shared a video reintroducing herself without her wedding ring or her husband’s name. She apologised to her fans for keeping them in the dark and for her absence, noting that time can either make or break one; however, it built her, and now she is back and ready.
In another post, Meurer expressed excitement as she announced her return to the industry. She said she isn’t the same, but better, stronger and unstoppable.
Surprisingly, on Mother’s Day, Churchill had shunned Tonto and only celebrated Rosy Meurer. The philanthropist appreciated her for being an amazing mother and an incredible woman. He expressed gratitude for her love and strength.
The couple married in 2022 after his failed marriage to Tonto Dikeh, and they have two children, a boy and a girl.
