The Oyo Children Were Released, Not Rescued — D English Alhaji

Social media commentator D English Alhaji has reacted to the release of the teachers and pupils who were abducted in Oyo State, questioning why similar outcomes have not been achieved for victims of insecurity in Borno State.

In a post shared online, he alleged that the Oyo victims were “released, not rescued,” adding that he would provide details to support his claim.

Reacting to the development, he wrote:

“The Oyo children were released, not rescued. Details coming tomorrow. The children of Oyo have finally been freed; when will the children of Borno experience similar relief? It appears that ransom payments have become the price of freedom.”
