“This is becoming ridiculous” – Mofe Duncan, others react as popular Lagos businessman Mike of Lagos beats up actor, Uche Maduagwu (Video)

Social media users are reacting to a viral video of Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu being beaten up by Lagos businessman Hon Mike Ndubuisi, popularly known as Mike of Lagos.

According to reports, the businessman had stormed Uche’s location, where he mercilessly dealt with him in public for disrespecting him.

In the video, Uche was seen receiving a pedicure when Mike from Lagos walked in and warned him. Things escalated between the two, and the businessman was captured beating him up as those around them separated them.

Reacting to it, Mofe Duncan expressed the belief that the video is only for content, as such videos are becoming ridiculous.

Last year, Yoruba actress, Funmi Bank Anthony had engaged in a heated argument with Uche, which led to her beating him up. According to eyewitnesses, the actress beat up Uche after he insulted her and had slammed him with a 100 million lawsuit for claiming she’s responsible for Funke Akindele snubbing Toyin Abraham.

In 2023, singer May D and Uche Maduagwu engaged in a public fight. In a viral video, they were both seen in a physical fight as someone tried to separate them. At some point, May D appeared very heated, lunging towards Uche Maduagwu.

However, netizens could not help but comment on the fact that it could all be staged, especially given Uche Maduagwu’s reputation.

Recall that in 2022, actor Jim Iyke got into a social media fight with Uche Maduagwu. The video which was shared online saw Jim Iyke barging into Uche’s apartment and pysically assaulting him. However, the both came out to reveal that it was all strategic and it was all for promotion reasons.

Jim Iyke explained that it was planned and that he spent over $200 million on promotion for his movie. He also expressed that he would never get into a physical fight like that, and he had done so just for clout’s sake.

Uche disclosed that he had revived Jim Iyke’s career. The media personality, in an interview, said the stunt was done to revive Jim Iyke’s failing career.
