US-Iran War Live Updates: US President Donald Trump said America was “winning big in Iran” and would see the “fruits of that labour very, very shortly”, as US forces launched a fresh wave of strikes against Iran for the sixth consecutive night.

The latest attacks began at 2 pm ET on Thursday, with the US saying the operation was aimed at further degrading Iran’s military capabilities.

The strikes hit sites across Iran, including a bridge and railway station, while Tehran retaliated with attacks targeting US military facilities in the region. Iran claimed it targeted US helicopters and reconnaissance aircraft at Bahrain’s Sakhir airbase, prompting air raid sirens and authorities to urge residents to seek shelter.

The latest US strikes also damaged power lines in and around the southern Iranian city of Bandar Abbas, according to Iran’s Energy Ministry, although electricity was later restored in some areas.

Tehran has warned that the Strait of Hormuz will “never return to what it was before the 40-day war”, as concerns persist over the conflict’s impact on key global energy and shipping routes.
