“You can’t dine with Seyi Tinubu and claim you’re 100% for Peter Obi” – Lady blasts Isaac Fayose

A Nigerian lady has criticised social media commentator Isaac Fayose over his recent clarification after a viral video of him singing “On your mandate we shall stand” and praying with President Bola Tinubu’s son, Seyi Tinubu, surfaced online.

Earlier, Fayose had explained that his relationship with Seyi Tinubu and the Tinubu family was based on friendship and did not mean he had abandoned his political support for Peter Obi.

Reacting in a video, the lady questioned his explanation, arguing that his actions appeared to contradict his claim of remaining loyal to NDC presidential candidate.

In her words, she said:

“All these videos you’re making now are damage control. There’s a saying, ‘A friend to all is a friend to none,’ and I believe that’s exactly what you’re practising.”

She added that while she respects people who openly declare their political affiliations, she believes Fayose has left many people confused about where he truly stands.

She further questioned how he could publicly associate with Seyi Tinubu, pray for President Bola Tinubu’s administration and still insist he remains fully committed to Peter Obi.

“You’re dining with Seyi Tinubu and praying for God to strengthen President Tinubu’s government and fulfil his political ambitions. Yet you still say you’re 100% with Peter Obi. How exactly does that work?” she added.

Her remarks have since generated mixed reactions online, with many Nigerians debating whether political friendship and loyalty can coexist.
