British-Nigerian boxing champion Anthony Joshua has triggered heated discussions online following a controversial opinion he shared about loyalty in relationships.

In a post shared via his Snapchat account, the heavyweight boxer suggested that feeling guilty after cheating is actually a sign of loyalty.

His words:
“If you cheat on your partner and feel guilty after that’s how you know you’re loyal.”

The comment has sparked mixed reactions across social media, with many calling the statement contradictory, while others labeled it brutally honest.

Joshua, known for his usually private stance on relationships, rarely comments on matters of love or fidelity, making this post particularly unexpected.

Though he hasn’t responded to the backlash or clarified the intent behind his words, the statement continues to trend as fans and critics debate what loyalty should truly look like in a relationship.
