Nollywood star, Destiny Etiko, has reacted after photos of a baby who shares a striking resemblance with her went viral online.
Social media users have been buzzing over the child’s facial features, with many pointing out that the baby looks almost identical to the actress. The comparisons became so widespread that Destiny said she was repeatedly tagged in the posts.
Taking to Facebook, she humorously addressed the situation, writing:
“I have received so many tags about this baby. I just dey wonder. Why God come give my pikin to another person? What did I do? 🥲🙆♀️”
This isn’t the first time the actress has stirred conversation online. Recently, she trended over a TikTok video where she danced to D’banj’s ‘Fall in Love’, sparking speculation among fans about a possible romantic hint.
Destiny Etiko was also in the news in 2023 following her fallout with fellow actress, Ruby Orjiako. Destiny accused Ruby of violating a movie contract and failing to return a payment of N700,000. Ruby, however, denied any wrongdoing and refused to make a refund. The disagreement eventually led to both actresses blocking and unfollowing each other on Instagram.
