Zamfara First Lady hails women’s strong showing at APC convention

The First Lady of Zamfara state, Hajiya Huriyya Dauda Lawal, Sunday lauded the All Progressives Congress (APC) women in the state for their impressive turnout at the party’s 8th national convention in Abuja. 

She made the pronouncement in a statement signed by her press secretary, Rabi Yusuf, and made available to Blueprint in Gusau.

She described their presence as inspiring, strategic and a testament to their loyalty and commitment to the party.

The first lady noted that the women’s growing influence in Nigeria’s politics is seen as a driving force in grassroots mobilisation and policy advocacy.

Hajiya Huriyya urged women in the state to sustain momentum, support development initiatives of President Tinubu and Zamfara state government to develop the state.

She reaffirmed her office’s commitment to empowering women and promoting inclusive policies.
