Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has paid a visit to former Kano State Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso at his residence.
Atiku made this known in a statement posted on his Facebook page on Wednesday, stating that their meeting focused on discussions about the progress of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and ways to promote good governance.
The visit comes shortly after Kwankwaso defected to the ADC following his resignation from the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).
The development is seen as part of ongoing political realignments ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 general elections, with key political figures holding consultations on party growth and future strategies.
