A Maiduguri High Court, Wednesday, held its second hearing in a case between Shehu Mohammed Fanti and Multi Choice Nigeria.
Multi Choice Nigeria demanded detailed explanation from the plaintiff, Mohammed Shehu Fanti over breach of sealed and signed contract.
The plaintiff explained that he had in a suit with No BOHC MG/CV/2025, filed a writ of summons dated 10th March, 2025, accusing that the defendant, DSTV, breached a contractual agreement entered into by both of them.

The plaintiff said after fulfilling the contractual agreement between himself and Multi Choice Nigeria, the defendant breached the agreement, and all efforts to recall it via their official email address were futile.
He urged the court to declare that the defendant’s failure to provide decoder No. 1044169201 with the three months compact+ bouquet and months extra view amounts to breach of contract for which the plaintiff is praying and of N250, 000,000 (Two hundred and fifty million) in damages.
Fanti further presented all evidence in respect of the contract, including receipts of payment and other documents before the court after answering questions from both counsels to the defendant and the plaintiff.
