The Federal Government has published a list of 48 individuals and organisations allegedly linked to terrorism financing in Nigeria.

The list was released on Saturday by the Nigeria Sanctions Committee, NIGSAC.

According to the committee, the publication comprises individuals and entities suspected of involvement in financing and supporting terrorism-related activities across the country.

Among those named are persons allegedly connected to groups such as the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Ansaru, and the Islamic State West Africa Province.

The government said the move is part of ongoing efforts to curb the financing of terrorism and strengthen national security.
