HY’D: A Defense Ministry civilian contractor was killed and another wounded in a Hezbollah explosive drone attack in southern Lebanon on Tuesday, the IDF announced.
The contractor, whose name has not yet been released, was operating heavy engineering machinery in the Aitaroun area near Bint Jbeil when the drone struck. Hezbollah later claimed responsibility, saying it targeted an Israeli bulldozer with an explosive-laden drone.
According to Ziv Hospital in Tzfas, the wounded contractor — the son of the victim and employed by the same Defense Ministry contractor company — suffered light shrapnel injuries.
